Handmade Corpse Bride Dress
Handmade Corpse Bride Dress
Handmade Corpse Bride Dress, modeled straight off Victoria.
This is essentially a quilt, that I made a gown out of. The pleated stripes were specifically sewn on the bias, so the gown has a bit of stretch for max comfort. I installed pockets, and hand-beaded with some simple hand embroidery throughout the entire gown. Rhinestones dot each pleated black lace ruffle along the hem, as well as celtic beads. The back is lace up with organza ribbon. The dress has a front closure lined with half inch buttons and lace trims. This dress is lined in China silk, and has puffed shoulder sleeves.
Much love went into this gown. It was made custom for someone, but they couldn't provide a better address and were unwilling to go to their countries post. I'm grateful I got it back, but now it is free to be someone else's dream gown. Anything and everything can be made customizable. Price can be cut depending on how much work. For instance. If you wanted this dress, starting with a stripped fabric for instance, the price would be chopped in half. There may not be added pleats either. Depending on what you want and can afford, I will try to work with you. This dress takes 3-4 weeks to make as shown in the photos.
I made this as a Corpse Bride Dress, but it could be used for other occasions.
